REPRODUCTIVE AND CHILD HEALTH CLINIC
The
department has 3 sections: antenatal clinic, child welfare clinic and
waiting hostel for pregnant women.
The
department deals with preventive and promotive services to pregnant
mothers and children under five years, while it tries to encourage
husbands/fathers to participate.
The
RCH aims to improve the survival, health and well being of all
children and women and especially vulnerable groups living in the
surrounding area and out of service areas.
Also
the unit gives services to pregnant mother and children under 5 out
of service area within Sengerema District. The catchment areas are
Geita, Shinyanga, Bihalamulo. Every individual receives quality care
regardless distance from her/his home to our health facility
including service by mobile clinic to 6 villages and school health
program to 2 secondary schools and 7 primary schools.
